Our team was present at the Portuguese Congress of Coloproctology, with 5 scientific communications regarding the role of Artificial Intelligence in Colon Capsule Endoscopy. The scientific work “Artificial Intelligence and Capsule Colonoscopy: Automatic Detection of Blood and Other Colon Mucosal Lesions Using a Convolutional Neural Network” won the prize of best scientific work /oral communication of this prestigious scientific meeting. Indeed, Artificial Intelligence was regarded as a disruptive tool for the role of Colon Capsule Endoscopy in Coloproctology practice.
