Our team was present at the ECCO (European Cronh´s and Colitis Organization) 2021, the Europe’s Largest Inflammatory Bowel Disease meeting with scientific communications regarding the disruptive role of capsule endoscopy in Inflammatory Bowel Disease. The work entitled “Automatic detection of enteric ulcers and erosions in capsule endoscopy using a convolutional neural network” was distinguished as one of the most relevant scientific works of the congress, having been awarded the prize has been selected amongst the top 10 oral abstracts for the Highlights of ECCO’21. Furthermore, the scientific work entitled “Automatic detection of ulcers and erosions in Crohn’s endoscopic capsule using a convolutional neural network”, was one of the top scored abstracts and therefore selected for oral communication.
Summary of presented scientific communications:
- Automatic detection of colonic ulcers and erosions in colon capsule endoscopy images using a convolutional neural network
- Automatic detection of ulcers and erosions in Crohn’s endoscopic capsule using a convolutional neural network
- Artificial Intelligence and Colon Capsule Endoscopy: Automatic detection of colonic mucosal lesions and blood using a convolutional neural network
- Automatic detection of enteric ulcers and erosions in capsule endoscopy using a convolutional neural network
