Our team was present at the Digestive Disease Week 2021, the world´s largest GI congress with 4 scientific communications. The scientific work “Artificial intelligence in capsule endoscopy: Automatic detection of enteric ulcers and erosions in capsule endoscopy using a convolutional neural network” was selected as one of the most relevant communications of the congress. It was selected for oral communication in the category of Diagnostic and Therapeutic Updates in Small Bowel Endoscopy. Furthermore, the abstract work entitled “Artificial intelligence and colon capsule endoscopy: automatic detection of colonic protuberant lesions using a convolutional neural network” was awarded as a poster of distinction.
Summary of presented scientific communications:
- Artificial intelligence and colon capsule endoscopy: automatic detection of colonic protuberant lesions using a convolutional neural network
- Artificial intelligence in capsule endoscopy: Automatic detection of enteric ulcers and erosions in capsule endoscopy using a convolutional neural network
- Automatic detection of enteric protruding lesions in capsule endoscopy using a convolucional neural network
- Artificial intelligence and video capsule colonoscopy: automatic detection of blood in colonic lumen using a convolucional neural network
