The UEG Week is a prime forum for the meeting and sharing of knowledge between European gastroenterologists. Our team is proud to have had the opportunity to share the pioneer research on the application of artificial intelligence to distinct endoscopic modalities, most notably the use of deep learning for the diagnostic enhancement of digital single-operator cholangioscopy. Our group had four works selected for oral presentation, including Artificial intelligence for automatic diagnosis of biliary strictures malignancy status in single-operator cholangioscopy: a pilot study as well as studies assessing the performance of deep neural networks for the detection of morphologic features associated with increased risk of bile duct malignancy.
